Cutting the wall corner post

Instructions:

How to cut kitchen wall corner posts

Using the methods as before we can fit the return unit ready for the corner post to be fitted. As before we will be cutting the corner filler and its back panel to size. Ensure the return unit is level and square before cutting the corner post. The corner filler and back panel will be cut to the same width but with wall units the back panel will be 5mm longer than the corner filler, 2.5 millimetres at the top and 2.5 millimetres at the bottom as shown here. The back panel will be the same height as the wall unit when fitted. It will fit flush with the front edge of the carcase as well as being flush at the bottom and top as shown here by the fitter. The corner filler will be 5mm shorter and finish flush with the top and bottom of the corner unit blank panel once fitted.
