Marking walls for kitchen wall units
Instructions:
Before fitting any wall units we need to mark up the walls. You need to mark out the layout as with the base units marking where the edge of each unit will be. Then you need to draw a line indicating the top of the wall units using a level as shown here by the fitter. Continue that line along the entire length of the wall where any wall units will be fitted. Then make a mark 80mm down from your top line, this will represent the bottom of your wall hanging plate as shown here by the fitter. As before with a level draw a line 80mm below your top line. Then place your level on the vertical line indicating the edge of the unit and draw a line from the top line down to the line 80mm below as seen here. Repeat this for every wall unit, this line will show the edge of the unit where it is going to be fixed.
