Constructing the wall corner post
Instructions:
Check across the corner to ensure the units are level, then draw a line on the corner unit blank panel where the front of the corner back panel is. Then remove the back panel ready for fixing. Now remove the return unit and pilot drill three holes in the corner unit blank panel ready to receive the corner filler drilling the hole centre 9mm to the right of the line you drew. This will be where you attach the corner filler from inside the corner unit as shown. Now remove the corner unit blank panel and prepare to fit the corner filler using the screw holes you pre drilled, fitting the filler against the line as shown. Clamp the corner filler to the corner blank panel at both ends as shown and pilot drill the filler through the holes you drilled in the panel. Ensure the filler and panel are fixed together securely before removing the clamps. We recommend you use at least three screws to guarantee a strong fixing along the full length of the corner post as shown here by the fitter. Then we will attach the back panel to the back of the corner filler leaving 2.5 millimetres proud at either end of the corner filler as shown. Once in place clamp securely ready to attach to the corner filler as shown. Using pilot holes and screws as before attach the back panel to the corner filler using three screws to achieve a secure fixing.
